Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Kids of all ages need to play. Playgrounds are only for up to 12 year olds. Providing more play activities in arts, theatre, movement, dance, and actively running around will keep kids playing and developing, as well as creating community and keeping kids healthy. It’s relevant because kids are the future of the community and keeping them engaged means they don’t feel pressured to make bad choices.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Playgrounds for older kids and active arts and movement based activities for kids in grade school, up through high school.

Who would that help?

Children, families, community.
