College student food insecurity and stigma

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

College students are the largest growing group of food insecure people in the United States. A recent CUNY Survey stated that the primary reason for students' poor mental health is not knowing where their next meal is coming from

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Serve food on campus at low/little priced, open the cafeteria's again! The stigma of needing help is so real.

Who would that help?

All college (specifically Baruch) students! Food in the area is so expensive
