Creating safe injection sites to implement harm reduction techniques. Case management will be conducted throughout to help people get off drugs. Showers and bathrooms are also included

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

We need to end the war on drugs. Stop investing in police and jail and address the root causes of incarceration. Mental health and substances use disorders must be treated holistically - not criminalized.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create safe injection sites in every neighborhood. Have them staffed with social workers, mental health professionals, credible messengers, etc.

The entire city.
