What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of mentorship and guidance for the youth in our community. Underutilized skills in our senior population.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This would help seniors and youth by giving seniors a sense of purpose while using their skills to mentor and help kids with homework, career guidance, etc.; this would also give adolescent/teenaged kids a sense of responsibility and being needed.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Connecting seniors with youth in the community through guided workshops and a mentorship program.
