Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

- valuable environmental impact by properly handling old electronics that many people don't know how to dispose of.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Tech repurposing, using the salvageable parts from what is collected to repair used computers and tech devices to donate to those in need - increases accessibility to computers and internet allowing for more people to: file for unemployment, look for jobs, contact family and friends, prep for tests, tc. (Libraries are amazing, but they are often the only free resource people have to access this kind of stuff. And the pandemic showed us that this isn't always an option.)

Also create tech community centers - casual, accessible, neighborhood-based spaces that allow those interested in learning more about computers to access parts and engage with like-minded individuals.
