Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

[Everyone deserves a meal. Malnutrition is predictable, preventable, and treatable, and defeating hunger is affordable and we need to do everything in our power to solve it.]

What idea do you have to address the problem?

[If NYC would help our congregation become partners with a food bank (allotting us a set amount of funding to purchase food) and to distribute these NON-perishable BAGS of food or become partners with a program like RETHINK FOOD BANK where restaurants donate already prepared meals ready for serving, then we could make a difference in our community.
