What problem would you like to solve?

Financial stress and insecurity within the community.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Lack of financial education in school, lack of transparency in financial institutions, high-cost living in the city, wealth distribution, and financial taps all leave Brooklyn citizen at risk of bankruptcy/ financial burdens. Homelessness, joblessness, health related financial issues are a huge problem.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I'd like to see a community financial planning center setup. Where the community members could go to ask for information about all the above.

Who would that help?

This idea would help everyone in the community who lacks the financial education they may need.
