What problem would you like to solve?

The disconnections and life challenges caused by the persistent socioeconomic disparity and the fast-changing world.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The well-being of the youth. Tea is a proven effective way to cultivate mindfulness, cultural awareness, and to create connections.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Partner with local communities to create welcoming communal spaces for youth to learn and explore the world of tea arts and culture. Engage the youth in a fun and multi-sensory way to cultivate mindfulness and community building. Inspire and equip them with the tools to connect to nature and interpret the world around them.

    Who would that help?

    Under-served communities, first/second generation immigrants

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Bedford-Stuyvesant, Midwood, East New York, Chinatown, Bay Ridge, Sunset Park, Mott Haven, East Harlem, East Village, Stapleton, Flushing, Sheepshead Bay
