What problem would you like to solve?

Many kids finish high school and go into college without really knowing what they want to major in because of many reasons. One being that they aren’t aware of the many possible career options there are other then becoming a doctor, teacher, accountant, engineer, etc.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

There are so many career options to choose from that pay well and dont need a lot of schooling. Showing kids from a young age the options they can choose other the main choices can help in making the decision for their future.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Having a program either in a library, or after school cub where kids can go to and learn of the many career choices there are in the world. In this program, representatives from various careers would come in and explain a day in their life and what the process was to be where they are now. This can help influence their decision from young and have them mentally ready to start there journey as well.
