What problem would you like to solve?

    More involvement in public service.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Crime is high. We want people to be able to feel safe in their neighborhoods, and for young people to have something to do.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We need programs to help youth learn how to become police or members of public safety. This will help kids get involved in the community. Maybe an afterschool program with more involvement of police academy trainers, or pipeline programs in inner city schools.

    Who would that help?

    Our community.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    Washington Heights/Inwood
