What problem would you like to solve?

Crime rates are rising. People feel as though they cannot walk the streets without fear. Youth do not have enough opportunities to give them an alternative.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Without resolving this problem, we will continue to see increased deaths amongst youth. Without people feeling safe, nothing else can be achieved.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

These seniors would like to have a forum for youth that would teach them about self- respect, provide educational help, mentorship opportunities , teach the importance of public safety, safe sex and avoiding drug use, and advocate for stricter gun laws.

Who would that help?

This would help youth directly and make seniors and differently-abled people feel safer in the community.
