Who can join a Borough Assembly, and what do they do?
All New York City residents can apply to be part of their Borough Assembly (one per borough). Members are randomly selected to reflect the diversity of their communities. Each Assembly can include up to 25 residents.
Assembly Members meet over several sessions to:
Review the ideas submitted during Idea Generation
Discuss which ideas best address community needs
Decide which ideas will appear on the final borough ballot
