Overview of the Project - Please provide a brief description of the project.

The Clayton Hemingway, Jr. Youth Services will be located at 895 Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207

On November 4 2017 my son Clayton was murdered as he was coming home linden houses from the park after a game of basketball. He was known to his friends a prowess and to many adults as a great kid if his death was to be redeemed my grief had to move to ACTION. The creation of the clayton Hemingway Jr. youth services the purpose of our organization is to simply but profoundly change the experience of Black youth from being acted upon or to being in control of their own destiny. To that we proposed to create a program to be called “from the streets to the suites project we will identify and commit up to 10 youth people ages 9 to 16 and provide the following services.

Youth Engagement - Please explain how you will engage youth in the planning and implementation of the project.

The Clayton Hemingway, Jr. Youth Services will establish a steering committee composed the youth participants. The steering committee will decide on the order business for the Clayton Hemingway Foundation and maintain it's operations,

Budget -1.      After school tutoring

2.      Excursions within the city to explore visual arts. Dance and movements.

3.      Media production youth invited to engage in zoom meetings peer fellowship and leadership and workshops to initiate the project at hand for learning team work and responsibility through sports.     Your total project budget must equal $20,000 to be placed on the ballot for a youth vote. Please provide a brief description of what the funds would be used for to successfully implement your project. You will also need to download, fill in, and attach a full budget using this template external-link(External link).
