Idea Submission for The People's Money:
This program provides structured support groups and specialized trainings to help community members address conflict, cope with feelings of being unsafe, and respond effectively to crises. Participants learn practical conflict-resolution strategies, emotional regulation skills, and tools for de-escalating tense situations. Facilitated by trained professionals, the support groups offer a safe space for individuals to discuss concerns, strengthen communication skills, and build trust within their neighborhoods. By empowering residents with knowledge, resources, and peer support, the Community Safety, Healing & Conflict Resolution Support Program enhances community resilience, promotes safety, and fosters healthier, more connected environments.
