Describe the challenge you want to address:

The problem that I see in my community that can really impact people is the normalization of drugs being sold to kids without any free rehabilitation services. The idea that people with disabilities only relates to physical and not mental - leaving kids with mental disabilities to be outlasted and/or disregarded by the government as someone to help.

What is the solution to the challenge?

(1) Starting with issue , I would like to see SAPI (Substance Abuse Prevention Intervention) counselors in schools to help kids who might be struggling to get the help they need with privacy from parents (unless they want to co tact their parents). And more narcan stands to give free narcan for free to anyone who needs it.
(2) Issue is to fund parents who may not have the budget to have special needs kids and try to get them to support their kids - money for wheelchairs, sensory headphones, fidgets, and to help schools have sensory rooms.
