Describe the challenge you want to address:

Public transportation is for the public- the public who already pay taxes and deal with day to day- why can’t the “people’s money” be put towards making the transit system in NYC free?

What is the solution to the challenge?

Use the “people’s money” to subsidize whatever money would be lost from removing subway fares. Riding the subway should be free.
