Describe the challenge you want to address:: Public transportation is for the public- the public who already pay taxes and deal with day to day- why can’t the “people’s money” be put towards making the transit system in NYC free?
What is the solution to the challenge?: Use the “people’s money” to subsidize whatever money would be lost from removing subway fares. Riding the subway should be free.
