Many residents in Queens lack access to affordable, professional-grade training in music production and audio engineering, which limits their opportunities for skill development and career advancement in the creative industries. By launching music studio programming and certification opportunities, this project would fill that gap, providing residents with the tools and credentials needed to succeed in a competitive field while fostering local talent.

What is the solution to the challenge?

Queens Defenders is nearing completion of a state-of-the-art 5.1 surround sound Dolby Atmos music studio. This funding would allow us to provide free Pro Tools certifications and professional audio engineering training programs to local residents. These programs would equip participants with valuable skills, fostering career growth and opening pathways into the music production industry, while enhancing access to high-quality creative opportunities in the community.
