Describe the challenge you want to address:
Our community is comprised of families and individuals of mixed statuses as well as of undocumented status. These families and individuals face discrimination in their places of employment, education and do not enjoy the same rights as residents/citizens even though then contribute equally if not more in the development of the city.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Safety workshops that are fosused on the issues faced by mixed-status and undocumented individuals/families could help a mass majority of the residents of this area to better understand their rights and also ways to protect themselves from being exploited at their places of work, and keep themselves safe at their places of education etc
