Describe the challenge you want to address:

The problem is trash washing up beaches and bays (coastal area) and humans adding to the trash in our coastal areas. Other neighboring communities are serviced in terms of trash disposal but our communities are not.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Get youth involved with cleaning up trash and community cleanups.

Town hall neighborhood meetings and addressing concerns regarding trash. It would be an environmental stewardship program where young people receive a stipend to clean and learn about the environment.
