Describe the challenge you want to address:

More community gardens - expand by using empty lots. More trash cans and recycle cans. Free food delivery.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Expand education with outreach, make community gardens, more farmers' markets for low-income people.

Suggestion: Idea can be translated into a program that provides education to low-income residents on (1) how to garden and (2) how to start a community garden at existing Green Thumb community gardens. The program could also give participants Health Bucks - https://www.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/health-bucks.page - which can then be used at farmers' markets to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
