Describe the challenge you want to address:
The NYC school system does not teach everyone to read because the curriculum is flawed. There are too many adults who did not need to read sufficiently.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Phonics programs after school or in facilities for adults that teach and improve reading skills for free. An after work dinner program that has a phonics teacher there.
