Describe the challenge you want to address:
There is a lack of programs that are affordable for the entire community. The target audience for everyone in Queensbridge housing and specifically the disabled and elderly along with youth, young adults, teens and unemployed.
We want to uplift NYCHA residents to engage and employ themselves to get out of poverty and have a fulfilling life.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Use building in community to be accessible to NYCHA residents from ages 12-100. The program will teach people English, technology, new education, help disabled people get a job/carrier or get taught higher education.
Also, provide a safe space for mentorship programs, resume building and interview training. Support with keeping jobs.
