The neighborhood has been depleted of an activities center that is more than just basketball. The gang violence has increased because there are minimal extra- curriculum activities program in the area. Drugs and violence are up in this group.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

We need other educational extra-curriculum programs that would focus on the young adults in the neighborhood offerring safe havens and positive distractions to drugs and crime.
