Describe the challenge you want to address:

PS 133’s Native Garden is one of the largest native gardens in the DOE. It is tended exclusively by parents and students at PS 133. The garden is a special place for the children to learn about the lifecycle of plants and the importance of planting natives to maintain the balance and biodiversity of our local ecosystem. The garden is in need of various improvements, that would be possible if granted a portion of the city budget.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Improvements needed in the garden include upgrading the current watering system, expanding storage spaces, and putting in fencing around the tree + native plant beds along the sidewalks around the school.
