Describe the challenge you want to address:

Thousands of plastic vials are discarded each month, after monthly supply of medication is dispensed and used up. These bottle aren't allowed to be reused. Having to pour tablets from larger stock bottles into individual patient bottles also leads to greater possibility of errors and lack of sterility, when medications are transferred between bottles. Also tablets are not individually labeled with name and exp. date, so if the patient drops a pill at home, it's often a mystery to identify them. Everywhere outside of the US, medications are dispensed in unit-dose blister packs.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Instead of pouring medications from bigger plastic bottles into smaller plastic bottles, demand that manufacturers put tablets/capsules into paper/foil blister packs, individually labeled.
