We believe that all programs are consistent with the mission and interest of Coney Island community and hope you will find it in your hearts and budget to support these events

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Our doors and services are open daily to service our community. Our mission of engaging and servicing the residents of the community is embraced by the Coney Island community.
Our service is trusted, valued and it is integral and vital in people’s busy lives.

People from our community fondly recall the library of their childhood, and the joy of taking their children and grandchildren to the library to check out books, attend a story time and participate in our daily programs and community events.

Unfortunately, we are expecting to run out of funds by December 2023 and will not be able to run some very successful programs for children and adults. We wouldn't be able to organize and execute all these programs without city and people support and generous financial help.
