Food Pantry In Schools

Avatar: Tara Haynes Tara Haynes

What problem would you like to solve?

[Hungry children in school.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Many children go home to empty cabinets and refrigerators. Many students come to school and take extra lunches for their siblings at home. When the lunches runout they go home hungry and stay hungry throughout the night until the next day.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

[I would like a food pantry in my school

Who would that help?

[It will help the families in my school and the surrounding community.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

[P.S 115 Canarsie
