What problem would you like to solve?

I would like for the hispanic community to be more involved in their neighborhoods and be aware of what is happening around them.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Due to a language barrier, many Hispanic stay out of politics and/or decision on their community because they aren’t aware of what is happening or what could be done to help fix problems. If they would be educated and more aware of these things, there is a lot that could be fixed or improved. For example, PB is a process everyone should participate in because at the end its going to benefit them and their community but many are not aware of this process and they should be involved.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Weekly meetings in Unidad y Fe to inform our community members of any changes, problems, or challenges the neighborhood is facing. People can voice their opinions on what they feel should be down to make our community better and safer. These meetings would initially take place in Spanish but could be offered in English.

    Who would that help?

    Everyone

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    Woodhaven
