Community Garden for Seniors and Youth

Avatar: St. George Library Center St. George Library Center

What problem would you like to solve?

The north shore area is considered a food wasteland. There aren't a lot of stores for cheap fresh food.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

People need fresh food and something to do.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

The garden would be made to help seniors pass the time, and also teach youth how to garden. So it's part past time activity and part productive food growing.

Who would that help?

The entire north shore

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

St, George
