What problem would you like to solve?

Revitalize the borough of the Bronx by providing community-led environmental projects to create spaces that will tackle on food insecurity, beautify our public parks.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Its important to solve as many Black and Brown Bronxites continue to suffer and struggle with basic necessities.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

In a borough where many neighborhoods are food deserts we must provide and create opportunities to build community gardens led by residents of all ages, provide classes on health and wellness, tie into workout classes. The Bronx is home to a few of the largest parks in the city, utilizing the space and provide ways to connect with it and protect it. Build relationships with local youth groups, community gardens, and mutual aid groups.

Who would that help?

Black & Brown communities.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Bronx
