    The problem that we would like to solve is the rise in danger in public high schools.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    This is important to solve because there has been a rise in gun violence and crime within public high schools which have affected many families who fear sending their children to school, a place that is supposed to be safe.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    An idea to combat this issue is increasing security in schools and providing mental health support to students and teachers.

    Who would that help?

    This would help families and children who attend public high schools. 

    What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    All boroughs would benefit from this idea.
