What problem would you like to solve?

Random attacks against Asian Americans

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Community Idea generation workshops in Asian communities overwhelmingly identifies street safety and security as a top priority.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Hiring private safety patrols or funding bi-lingual volunteer safety patrols who can patrol Asian communities. Patrols can escort late evening commuters on demand.

Who would that help?

Asian community who continues to feel threatened by random violence

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Brooklyn Queens Manhattan
