What problem would you like to solve?

The problem that we would like to solve is the lack of different cultural celebrations and festivity in New York City.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because New York City is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world. We should be celebrating this and showcasing the various cultures that make up New York City. Different communities should get to experience different cultures in different neighborhoods.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

An idea to combat this issue is perhaps enacting a program where different cultures are showcased every couple of months in different neighborhoods and everyone is invited. Like a big block party where individuals can learn about a certain culture, taste their food, listen to their traditional music, and get a sense of their lives.

    Who would that help?

This would help everyone in New York City become more of a well rounded person by educating them on different cultures.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

All boroughs would benefit from this idea.
