What problem would you like to solve?

The problem that we would like to solve is the lack of community support when it comes to domestic violence victims, including shelters, local hotlines, support groups, etc.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because since the start of the quarantine process in 2020 because of the pandemic, the rise of domestic violence has increased as people were forced to stay together for long periods of time. Many victims have had a hard time trying to find support and help from the abuse.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

An idea to combat this issue is creating and marketing resources and support groups for domestic violence victims at a more community level than a city and national level.

    Who would that help?

This would help domestic violence victims.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

All boroughs would benefit from this idea.
