What problem would you like to solve?

The increase of crime in our neighborhoods

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Relevant because people would feel safe coming and going anytime during the day. If people feel safe they are out shopping spending money in our neighborhoods which helps everyone economically

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Can we address why the crime is increasing - education, employment, lack of resources, racial inequality - the list can go on and on

    Who would that help?

It would help everyone in our neighborhood - even if we take small steps which leads to small accomplishments vs not doing anything and gaining nothing

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Soundview, Clason Point, Castle Hill, Unionport
