What problem would you like to solve?

Because Seniors and young people don't come into contact with one another on a regular basis, they don't understand one another and can come into conflict.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This will increase respect among children for older people, and enable seniors to have a window into what young people are dealing with today.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

School field trips (project) to come into senior centers. Seniors talk about growing up in New York. Poetry reading/poetry slam. Provide an opportunity to find shared, if different experiences living in NYC.

Who would that help?

Seniors and Young people

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Citywide
