The problem that we would like to solve is to have more language translators, like Urdu, available at different city agencies.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because we have several immigrants and older people who don't speak English as their first language and could benefit from using a translator when it comes to understanding important documents.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

An idea to combat this issue is hiring more translators, especially Urdu translators, in city and government agencies.

This would help individuals who have recently immigrated to the US and English is their second language.
