What problem would you like to solve?

Visibility for undocumented immigrants and their ineligibility for basic human rights

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It affects mothers children spouses and it's not talked enough about. Those populations are part of our society but yet are underprivileged and separated from more fortunate immigrants by invisible borders and barriers and live in a constant fear.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create a brick and mortar art project to educate people on how legislation separates families and prevents people from accessing resources

Who would that help?

Undocumented immigrants, specifically those who entered the United States without inspection which makes them eligible for being held without a bail in ice detention for up to two years

Manhattan
