What problem would you like to solve?

The trees that belong to the city are destroying the sidewalks and the homeowners are responsible and liable for fixing the sidewalks.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

People can trip and fall. If people keep getting hurt or falling, they can pursue legal action against the homeowner.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We can have the park department create a group to trim the trees, or go around and record the trees that need to be fixed or rearranged. We need an advocacy group that can keep taking care of the trees.

    Who would that help?

The community members can partake in the group. The people avoid getting hurt. The city.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    East Elmhurst
