What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of civic infrastructure in TRIE neighborhoods

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Neighborhoods like West Farms do not have advocacy groups working on behalf of residents that would be eligible to apply for People's Money funding once RFP's are issued (after budget passes).

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Community Boards can use funding to support outreach, create programming, and fund activities

    Who would that help?

Residents in neighborhoods without nonprofits or community groups

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Low Income neighborhoods such as West Farms, the Bronx. West Farms is in the same community District as Belmont and East Tremont but is not listed on the TRIE neighborhood description.
