Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Because the streets of East Harlem are very unsafe. It is important to feel safe in one's home.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Many people of the community feel a more active presence of the NYPD would benefit the overall public safety. They suggested a police be stationed at every corner or near schools, parks and train stations
