What problem would you like to solve?

People not having somewhere to go to for extra curricular activities.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It will be best to have a space for members of the community to be able to explore their different hobbies, things that they might be interested in, and to learn new things..

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We need to expand programs offered in facilities and community centers. More funding for programs means centers and CBOs will be able to diversify the type of programming that they offer, expanding the horizons of what people in the community know and can learn. Things can be added, such as learning new languages, computer skills, marketing skills, how to use programs like canva which is very big in many businesses and jobs today.

Who would that help?

Teens and young adults.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Washington Heights and Inwood
