Changes at "Community Income Housing For Single Individuals"

What problem would you like to solve?

Single individuals need support to find housing where many programs and vouchers only seem to work for people with children.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important because it provides housing support and care to people without extended families that live alone. It would add new voices and awareness to these specific needs of single individuals to the housing conversation.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We need a program that specifically focuses on the needs of single individuals without children and how they can find targeted low-income housing support and vouchers. It could also add ways for them to not be overlooked because of their non-parental status and find ways to increase connection/decrease isolation.

Who would that help?

It would help marginalized people in need of extensive services and those i need of aid without children.
