[The use of pharmaceuticals to treat Mental Illness]

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

[Due to lack of knowledge and stigma around mental illness in black and brown communities people are unaware that they even have mental Illness. Those who take the pharmaceutical to combat the symptoms but are left feeling like a zombies not knowing there are alternatives ]

What idea do you have to address the problem?

[to help address the problem would start a program that one would educate the community about what mental illness is and the many options they have such as change in diet to help combat symptoms before being placed.]
