Adding on tons of bogus violations and now not allowing us to use brokers will only make more units stay vacant longer as we can barely afford to repair vacant units let alone have the time and money to rent them ourselves. You are only reducing housing availability \n\n

What is the solution to the challenge?

\n\n
Reject the FARE act. Don't have HPD and DSNY send out constant inspectors to issue minor violations that have huge fines but pose no public safety risk. Also maybe implement better trash rules for large apartment buildings. They don't need the city approved bins as long as trash bags are set out past 8pm (instead of the former 6pm) - apparently rats only come out between 6 & 8pm. Implementing the new rules for small buildings & private residences isn't helping the problem as they only account for about 20% of the rats\n\n

Please provide your Zip Code

\n\n
11214\n\n

</xml>"]
