Describe the challenge you want to address:

Pollution - asthma and other health problems; affordable food stores/supermarkets; affordable transportation for single parents; not enough green spaces; unhealthy food options.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Community rooftop garden with gardening instructor for residents of the public housing buildings in each public housing building in the neighborhood. Resdients get to take home some of the fresh produce harvest. Parents can bring their kids and theres a separate, more basic, class for kids to learn how to garden. they would plant more basic seedlings and also learn about healthy eating habits.
