Describe the challenge you want to address:

People need to know where they are and where they are trying to go. Just having an exact address sometimes is less than helpful. Adding the building numbers to street signs fixes this problem. People would know if they were walking or riding in the right direction, if they are close by, or if they can walk or need to take transit.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Put the building numbers of that block on street signs. This is normal in many cities in the US, and the world. For example, my street corner sign would say "W. 85th Street, 200-249." The next block would say, "W. 85th Street, 250-299." Along the avenues, this would be even more helpful: "Broadway 2340-2350." Etc.
