    Short description of the project

This project will help address the skills gap among youth by providing workforce training and career development to jobseekers between the ages of 18 to 24.

Briefly summarize what your organization will do to implement this project.

We will conduct our core program, Intro to AgTech, where participants will gain fundamental knowledge of sustainable agriculture, technology, and construction skills. They will then be placed into paid internships with local employers to jumpstart their careers.

What motivated your organization to apply to implement this project?

Our team has over 7 years of workforce development experience which we've used to help secure more than 165 job placements for our alumni network in growing sectors. We specialize in coding/programming, sustainable farm system development and use these specialities to help empower youth with economic mobility.

How do you think this project will make a difference in the community?

Our project will make a difference by preparing young people who are disconnected from gainful career paths to emergent sectors that can help then gain economic mobility while developing sustainable food systems using integrative technologies.

Name one thing you're excited about related to this project!

We're excited to see how our participants explore new career pathways.
