    Project Description:

    20-30 Youth and young adults ages 15 to 30 will be engaged in projects that will help to shape their civic awareness and knowledge base while developing participants’ civic responsibility. Projects and civic education will include monthly civic education workshops supported by projects that encourage voting among young adults, awareness of community needs for improve quality of life, and a development of a working knowledge of local and federal government officials’ roles and policies. This project will conclude with a field trip to Albany and Washington, DC to meet with elected officials.
