What problem would you like to solve?

Getting Teens more involved in Civic Engagement and Community Ambassadors

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Empowering Teenagers to make decisions, use their voice, getting involved builds confidence, and improves life skills, and growth. It also empowers them to get more involved in their community and possibly gives them an idea of what career path they want to choose.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Recruit 15-20 High School students to create a Community Ambassador coalition. Give them the opportunity and tools to do the following:

Create a social media campaign that focuses on community outreach

Somos todos / We all are - This message will be that we are all part of a community that represents diverse cultures, ideas, food, activities, art, music and so much more. Creating a campaign that we all belong.

Getting involved in Civic Engagement

Professional Development - Resume, Cover Letter, Mock Interviews, internships. Empowering the YOUTH in choosing the right career path

Who would that help?

High School Students

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
